My FaKebook

July 17 1703 is the best day in the world because its my birthday. My job is to transport goods from America to Britin. I have adopted my nephew John Hancock.

Thomas Hancock
I am the very rich CEO of House Of Hancock. My amazing company that has made me one of the richest people in Boston deals with trades from the New World to Great Britin. We trade things like wine.

John Hancock Not for long. the English put tax on tea. How outrageos. that is not fair, we should not have pay extra for tea. I need to do something about this. Something a long the lines of not paying our taxes because the British are horrible tax collectors. Do you remember the molasses act. Nobody payed the taxes for that.
1764

John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin FranklinHey John, haven't you heard that the English have also created the Currency Act. Which if you don't know is when the British put tax on paper money every time it gets printed. This needs to stop because . We need as many people as we can to try stop the British. John,we cannot just skip paying taxes because the British have now increased measures to enforce the tax. They are now just being unfair. If you can, John, please join our club to get the Brits out(we need people).

John Jenkins (neighbor) No King you got to be kidding me. without my cheap morning paper i have nothing to do while i do my boring work of cutting logs. You are the worst King George that there ever has been because you are an unfair, stuck up, rich person who likes forcing his people into poverty by fighting the most useless wars in Someplace called Canada.
1765

Lydia Hancock I agree with John, but i don't think he needed to be so harsh. The Red Coats will burst into his house with armed guns, chain him and send him back to some island where they hold people who have broken the law or insulted the King. Watch out and if i was you i would run away find a new home and start my life as a house builder.
1765

John Hancock I will join, only because I want to make america a free country. I want you guys to draft something for me to sign. I will call it the Declaration.

Lydia Hancock likes this. i agree Thomas, we always knew that he was the best child we were going to get, and we didn't need to send him to the military school like Mr.Jenkins wanted. It is great we kept him he could now work for our family business. He was always so interested as a kid.

John Jenkins (neighbor) dislikes this. Your both wrong. As a kid John was arty pesky and a trouble maker. If he was in the military you would be well respected by Her Majesty, you wouldn't have to pay these ridicules taxes, and young John would get a very high pay. Military school is the best place for kids of this time.

Thomas Hancock
Lydia, look at our son go. He is such a great young lad. I knew from the second i adopted him in the year of 1744 because his loving father past away that he would be such a great guy and focus on the big things.with all our wealth and business there would never have a problem due to all the slaves around him. He is so much better then all of our other adopted children.

HA HA you useless colonists i have just formed another act called the stamp act. This new act will make you colonists have to pay for everything with an Official British Stamp. By the way you people will have to pay this money in British currency, not your useless paper bills

John Hancock Mom i disagree with you. I don't think Mr.Jenkins should be a coward and run i think he should stay and show those lousy red coats he's not afraid. He's not a coward, He will never flinch, And will never bow his head even if it is bloody.

King George III
Guess what else colonist of my great America. My best friend Charles Townshend has proposed the is idea of more lovely acts called the Townshend acts. These acts i`ll make sure i get extra money for our army. For your information paper, paint, lead, glass will be taxed. If i want more money i will add one more very special substance that will drive you pathetic Americans crazy.

Thomas Hancock You will NEVER to anything of this sort. What ever you do, take my other sons away, but leave me with John.

John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin
Guess What? We just drafted the Declaration, but all three of us want to call the letter the Declaration of Independence. It tells us why we should be a free nation, and why Americans will have a say in the governments. John, you can sign first because you thought of the Idea of becoming a free nation. American citizens should have a right, that is not controlled by the british. That would mean no taxes in imported goods and other things like paper and tea! Vote now, and become free!!!!!

John Hancock Likes this. I will be there, and will not let a country down. We should have a right.

King George Dislikes this. You must NOT form a new country. If you sign the document, I will send all my forces to dominate your forces. they will be crushed like ants crushed by an anteater. So beware, danger lurks ahead for those who search for it. The Redcoats have been the strongest war force in the past ten years. You people do have a right. It is to own slaves. If a war starts I will no hesitate to send my men to the war. Wars are always inevitable and will always be. Sometime or the other your forces will be crushed. Long Live Great Britain!!!!!!

Thomas Hancock
Take that you King George III. My son and his mates have now just made our country free from the rule of the lousy and inefficient British rulers such as Townshend and King George III. Take that

John Hancock likes this. Yeah Dad guess what else. I signed first and now people think me, John, Benji, and Thomas are heroes and are saints in disguise.

King George III I accept that you guys did put up a decent fight, but all the people who should have been supporting me gave in and i was left alone. It should never be your country. Remember that i will be back to take what is rightfully mine. Mark my words.
